Providence Energy

Company Overview

Providence is a privately held energy investment and management company formed in 1993 and based in Dallas, Texas. For two decades Providence has acquired and managed upstream oil and gas properties across the onshore US. Currently, Providence owns and/or manages approximately 6 million gross acres of minerals with interests in over 10,000 producing oil and gas wells.

Providence, by and through its subsidiaries, manages the minerals and royalty interests of various entities, including Providence Minerals, LLC, PEC Minerals, LP and Pennsylvania Mineral Group, LLC, each of which is readily pursuing leasing opportunities with exploration and production companies.

In January 2015, Providence formed Providence Energy Operators, LLC, an exploration and production company, primarily focused on direct investments in non-operated working interest assets. PEO’s strategy is to target, acquire and develop upstream oil and gas properties across the United States.

In addition to oil and gas, Providence has been an active investor in renewable energy sources, including in wind, hydro and alternative fuel-based power generation.
